LEDC1XXXHC - High Current LED Drivers Series

Our low voltage high current switching LED drivers allow greater current boost in a small, lightweight and rugged package. Utilizing Pulse-Burst Modulation(PBM) and Pulse-Width Modulation(PWM) techniques, these units are able to illuminate large arrays of individual Super-Bright or Luxeon type LEDs and drive loads.

Designed to readily use 1.2V and 1.5V cells configured in series or parallel, minimizing weight and adding convenience. These drivers operate by pulsing a high voltage at specified frequencies which in the case of lighting applications, increases the LED mcd rating to produce greater lumens per watt. This configuration produces a low duty cycle which results in lower LED temperatures and extended LED life. The duty cycle is kept well above 30 Hz to minimize the appearance of flicker. Their miniature size along with their switching characteristics assists with thermal disipation and allows these drivers to be incorporated in a variety of applications.
